Steve has been in the motor industry all his working life. Starting as an apprentice mechanic (working on Allegros and Metros!) he subsequently moved into sales and quickly became the youngest Mercedes-Benz dealer principal in the country, a position in which he excelled. Having achieved all his goals within the PLC world he started Auriga Cars in June 2008. Holiday-loving Steve is married with two teenage children and enjoys jogging to keep fit, walking Casper his Labrador and going out with family and friends.

Nick graduated from Sheffied with an LLB Honours law degree and trained to be a barrister before joining the industry in 1994. Initially in car sales, his career subsequently involved consultancy work with both manufacturers and dealer groups before rejoining the retail environment. He established Auriga Cars, and later, Dronfield Auto Bodies with Steve and has thoroughly enjoyed every step in the company's growth. He has two grown up children, cars and classics are his obsession and he also loves socialising and travel.

Born and bred in Dronfield, Izaak has been around cars all his life and professionally joined the industry when he was just 18 years old. Having worked in new and used car sales, he was the top salesperson in the market area for two years running at Mercedes-Benz before becoming business, and then sales manager. So he has bags of experience. He lives with his fabulous wife, Lily, and John-Boy their Beddlington Whippet in Sheffield. When not at the gym, eating out or socialising, his passion is cars. He loves all types of machinery but has a special soft-spot for 'young-timer' German classics and as well as his Mercedes-Benz 190E daily driver he had a BMW M5 (which is now owned by Radio 1's Greg James) and has a beautiful 2000's Porsche. The lucky crumpet!

Jim has been in the motor industry for over twenty years and has an excellent reputation in the local area where he has worked in sales during this time. Since joining Auriga Cars he's become an integral part of the operation. Outside work he is a family man who spends time with his close relatives, friends and best pal, Fred the British Short-Hair moggy! Jim's pastimes used to include going to the gym (carrot body) and being a sports car enthusiast he enjoys driving high-performance machines.

Ash has been in the motor trade for over twenty years and since joining Auriga Cars in he has worked his way through a variety of roles to become aftersales manager. A highly valued member of the team he's helped build a great reputation for the operation and has an army of loyal customers. A devoted family man, he and the lovely Jodi have a daughter, Mia and sons, Ollie and Rowan. In his spare time he adores eating (cheese is his favourite), drinking Fireball, watching football, having fun with his 'handbag' pooches Lenny and Winnie the French Bulldogs and spending time with family and friends.

Hailing from Sheffield Steven joined Auriga in 2023 and with coming up to 40 years in the motor industry is a fantastic addition to our team. Starting out as mechanic for Gilders Volkswagen he's a fully qualified technician, MOT Tester and more and has successfully managed a number of franchise, independent workshop and preparation centres in the region. Married to Lisa, they have two adult boys and he's a real family man. He loves football and has been a season ticket holder at Sheffield (we'll let you guess which team!) for donkey's years. In the off season he'll either be doing DIY or going on holiday for a bit of well deserved rest and relaxation!

Born and bred in Derbyshire James has been recently been superseded as the 'babbi' of the service team though in reality he's always been an old head on young shoulders. He was an excellent apprentice technician and completed his third year of studying at Chesterfield College in December 2024 when he gained his NVQ Level 4 accreditation he's now a fully qualified MOT tester. A fantastic achievement. He's a knowledgeable, hardworking young chap who we're delighted to have onboard. Outside work, aside from all the usual hobbies like 'going out with our lass', cars, watching quirky comedy TV shows and socialising he is apparently the ultimate Airsoft warrior and was born DefCon 1 ready! Yikes!

Robert began his working life In the motor trade studying in Sheffield at Granville College and has been in the industry ever since in various roles. He is a fully accredited technician and MOT tester. Before joining the Auriga team he worked as an mechanic and MOT tester locally though in the past has lived and worked all over the region. He lives nearby on the edge of Sheffield and is married with grown up children. He's a keen 'biker (the motor sort), loves live music and enjoys a good night out.

Harvey has served his apprenticeship with Auriga. He studied at Chesterfield College and successfully passed NVQ levels one, two and three to become fully qualified. Hailing from Newbold he's a local fella and as well as having his a car he's a 'biker too, basically if it's got wheels and an engine he's happy. When not working hard at Auriga he loves going out socialising having a pint, playing pool and singin' karaoke. Oh, and he changes his cars more often than his pants!

Jacob is the newest and youngest member of the Auriga team. Hailing from Sheffield he's currently studying at Chesterfield College and is an keen learner and enthusiastic worker. A supremely polite young man he's a brilliant addition to the company and is a pleasure to work with. He lives at home and when he's not out with his girlfriend Eve, he loves football. He plays for a local club and is a super-keen supporter being a Sheffield season ticket holder.

Mick has been in the motor trade since leaving school and has a wealth of experience. He joined us at Auriga Cars over a decade ago and is a genuine, loyal and key member of the squad. He is a pleasure to work with and always has a smile on his face. Mick is vital in ensuring that our vehicles are prepared to the highest possible standards for photographing and when being delivered. In his spare time when he's not walking his dog, Daisy, gardening or painting the shed, Mick is a keen model railway and steam train enthusiast who travels the country to attend events and rallies.

Born and raised in Dronfield, Andy is a fantastic addition to our valet team thanks to him studying paint and body repair all the way up to Level 3 at Chesterfield College. His eye for detail when it comes to vehicle preparation is second to none and he loves nothing more then restoring a car to its former glory and bringing out the natural beauty in the paintwork. Being a local lad, he knows the area like the back of his hand so service collections are a doddle! In his spare time, you can find him tinkering with his beloved Focus ST or out in the Peak District on his motorbike.
